We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA").

- Technical and usage data, collected automatically via analytics (e.g. pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location).
- Cookie data, small files used to remember preferences, such as your dark mode setting.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, and communicate about a project.
- To deliver and manage services once you engage us, including invoicing and project updates.
- To understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve it.
- To meet legal or administrative obligations, where applicable.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
3. How We Collect It
Information is collected directly from you when you submit our contact form, message us on WhatsApp, email us, or book a consultation call. Technical/usage data is collected automatically through analytics tools when you browse the site.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate our site and business, which may process your information on our behalf, including:
- Netlify: Website hosting and form submissions.
- Google Analytics (GA4): Site usage analytics, once active.
- WhatsApp Business: Client communication, booking, and project updates.
- Cal.eu: Consultation call scheduling.
These providers process data under their own privacy and security policies. We choose providers that take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Some of these providers store or process data on servers located outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we rely on providers with appropriate security and privacy safeguards in place for the cross-border processing of your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver a project, or meet legal/accounting requirements. Typically for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterward. You may request deletion at any time, as described in Section 7.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, particularly for data processed by third-party services outside our direct control.
7. Your Rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal or contractual obligations that require us to retain it.
- Object to certain uses of your information, such as marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. As a small business, we handle these requests directly and personally. We'll confirm what information we hold and action correction or deletion requests promptly.
8. Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies/local storage entries, primarily to remember your dark mode preference. Because analytics are active, additional cookies are used to understand site usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings.
